2023 College Captains​Carmel College 2023 College Captains

We are excited to introduce our new College Captains, Emily Riesenweber and Fletcher Winterburn who are already making their mark on the school and providing outstanding leadership. Recently they were featured in the Courier Mail article, here is an excerpt​ from the article:

Age: 17

What made you want to become school captain? 

The Carmel College motto, “Let your light shine", has always resonated with me. I want to inspire students in all year levels to discover their own light and enrich our the academic, cultural, religious and sporting life of our College.

What do you want to achieve as captain? 

To work with other school leaders at Carmel College to ensure we go from being a good school to a great school that builds on the legacy of past staff, students and members of the wider College community.  

 

Name: Fletcher Winterburn
Age: 17

What made you want to become school captain? 

I wanted to have a positive input into the College and influence all members of the Carmel College community to achieve to the best of their ability.

What do you want to achieve as captain?

I want to enhance our reputation as a caring, inclusive and supportive Catholic secondary school in the Redlands community.
