Sport

Carmel College has a strong sporting history.  We are extremely proud of all students who have been part of local, state and national competitions.

The emphasis of all Sport is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in sport, be physically active and demonstrate Carmel College's four pillars while representing the College with pride and humility.

Students are encouraged to embrace an active lifestyle, whether through organised sporting competitions, morning fitness classes and use of the College's gym, through to general health and fitness activities like walking groups.

Students at Carmel have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sporting competitions including SECA Sport, QLD All Schools Touch Football, Schools Touch League, Catholic Cup Netball, Vicki Wilson Cup and Shield, Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball, AFLQ Schools Cup, Bill Turner Cup (Soccer) and QLD All Schools Hockey.  Carmel College is also a member of Bayside District Sport and Metropolitan East School Sport.  These provide students with the opportunity to achieve representative honours in their chosen sport.
